Machine Learning Engineer (Speech)

Eduworks is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join a small R&D team in developing a low-latency speech and natural language processing based software product. The project is currently active and the successful applicant will:

  • Work with the research team to design, train, evaluate and deploy machine learning models relating to speech and text analysis
  • Experiment with, apply, and benchmark new speech processing algorithms
  • Lead dataset selection and development, including data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing
  • Develop, improve, and support machine learning pipelines
  • Assist with transitioning research systems to production level
  • Propose and implement novel approaches to research and data problems
  • Prepare presentations and publications as needed, including to non-technical audiences

Qualifications include:

  • Practical experience in implementing deep neural network-based speech processing algorithms (Tensorflow or PyTorch)
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Git
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform infrastructure
  • An interest in cybersecurity and linguistics
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Task Analyst

Eduworks is seeking a Task Analyst to support our partnerships with the U.S. Department of Defense and other clients in education, training, and human capital management. The task analyst will:

  • Analyze and prepare task, competency, and job data for inclusion within Eduworks' learning management technologies
  • Construct frameworks and other organizing structures using training and job skills information
  • Interpret client needs and propose improvements or new approaches to usability and systems design in the context of learning and development
  • Perform research relating to Department of Defense training and readiness initiatives
  • Support the development of IT systems used for learning and workforce management

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher Military experience desired but not required
  • Practical experience in task analysis, learning management, and related fields
  • Strong familiarity with Department of Defense training and professional development initiatives
  • Experience using O*NET
  • Interest in learning sciences, industrial psychology, and/or software development
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Programming ability desired but not required

Full Stack Developer

Eduworks Corporation (Eduworks) is seeking an entry-level to mid-level full-stack developer to assist with the development and deployment competency-based AI-enabled training technology for the US Department of Defense (DoD).

Requirements include exceptional coding ability in a strongly typed language; the ability to work independently; the ability to deal with customers who have ill-defined or changing requirements; good communication and excellent teamwork skills; a solid foundation in computer science (Bachelor’s degree equivalent); and a thirst for learning and professional development. Experience in or working with the DoD is a plus, as is an interest in and experience with learning/training technology, machine learning, natural language processing, and competency-based education or training.

Natural Language Understanding and Machine Learning Innovator

Seeking a person to join an NSF-funded R&D team that applies natural language understanding and machine learning to training and talent pipeline development.

This is an opportunity to define and implement innovative solutions to difficult problems with critical implications for America’s workforce. Requirements include a thorough knowledge of leading-edge machine learning and natural language understanding methods, strong programming skills in Python and at least one JVM-language, ability to design data systems and data and ML workflow pipelines, and excellent problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
